By day the Royal Courts of Justice is very much a working court and has a very important role to play in today’s society. The courts are the home of the Court of Appeal, Civil and Criminal Divisions and all three divisions of the High Court.

The High Court presides over some of the most serious civil trials and family cases in the country.
