Painted Room

The Painted Room is situated on a former jousting ground of the Knights Templar in the twelfth century and has since been used as a robing room for judges. 

It is the only decorated room in the Courts and has recently been restored under the supervision of English Heritage to match the original colours from 1882. 

The Painted Room can be hired exclusively for cocktail parties and intimate dinner parties and can be used in conjunction with the adjoining Bear Garden.
